Sharing the penny finding fun with friends is what made it all worthwhile! Together, we've had A BLAST discovering pennies, dimes, & even DOLLARS in the most unexpeted ways...learning the most unexpected lessons!
If you're like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa...what's this girl's deal with pennies. It's freaking me out a little..." then you might want to read on for a bit of context!
So, a few years ago I started this little experiment. It all began when I found a $20 bill in the cross walk on my way home from work. Were people really dropping $20s & not even realizing it?! I was so fascinated that I committed myself to picking up & keeping track of all the change I could find for a whole year (right after I did a happy dance & spent that $20 on a good pedicure!). Turns out the pennies I collected were the LEAST valuable part of the journey (although at $4,750 & counting...those little suckers have been pretty valuable too!).
Along with the pennies themselves, I gathered something far more interesting. Life lessons. Almost imperceptible at first...kind of like a penny. But over time as the community grew & friends shared what they were learning both as they watched me and as they discovered wayward pennies (and sometimes dollars!!) themselves...BOOM! I started to see the value I'd been stepping over my whole life. The little moments that seem too tiny to matter...but are in fact EVERYTHING!
So I wrote a book. Why not?! Shouldn't everyone have access to the life shifting perspectives I was discovering in the most bizarrely fun way?!
Incredibly, even after 34 chapters of shear brilliance (if I do say so myself)...the lessons kept coming. Not to mention, some of those amongst us aren't readers! And thus, a video series was born!
Now, while I can't be giving away the secrets of the video series...I CAN share with you the bloopers reel from our shoot that day. Along with this sage advice:

And in all honesty, even this description is getting a bit too long (what can I say...I get verbose when I am about to ask you for money?!).
Enter my teaching style. Bite sized lessons (each consisting of a short video + no more than one page of text with quotes, ideas, & possible ways to play with the weekly concept out in the world) that you can watch + read in about 7 minutes. And then...you get a full week to digest, mull over, consider, play with, practice, & otherwise apply the mini-lesson for maxi-results. Just about the time you think, "I think I've got this one!" another one is showing up in your in box.
